CASE ANNOTATIONS
1. Violation of city ordinance prohibiting same act does not count toward conviction under K.S.A. 8-285 (before 1982 amendment). State v. Wood, 231 Kan. 699, 701, 647 P.2d 1327 (1982).
2. Unsworn traffic citation no longer allowed as complaint; requirement of verified complaint to commence prosecution noted. State v. Fraker, 242 Kan. 466, 467, 748 P.2d 868 (1988).
