Every person operating an ambulance upon the streets of the City which answers calls in emergency cases shall, upon receipt of the call to convey a patient in an emergency case, immediately notify the Police Department of such call, giving the location of the patient, the time the call was received and, if possible, the hospital to which the patient is to be removed. (Code 1981 § 43-96. Code 1995 § 142-7.)
