(a) The Section of Traffic Engineering shall be under the overall supervision and jurisdiction of the Public Works Director or designee.

(b) The principal officer of the Section of Traffic Engineering shall be the Traffic Engineer who shall be a professional engineer with practical experience in traffic engineering and shall be appointed by the Director of Public Works.

(c) The Section of Traffic Engineering shall consist of such other employees in addition to the Traffic Engineer as are necessary for the operation of the Section of Traffic Engineering. (Ord. 17620 § 2, 12-12-00. Code 1995 § 142-36.)
