When bus loading zones in the core area are specifically designated as tow-away zones, members of the Police Department are hereby authorized to remove a vehicle violating the provisions of TMC 10.60.500 in such zones to the nearest private garage or lot or to a garage or lot or other place designated or maintained by the Police Department or otherwise maintained by this City, and to hold the vehicle until all the procedural requirements for claiming the vehicle as established in Chapter 10.10 TMC, Article IV, including payment of all costs and fines, are satisfied or until the vehicle is sold for satisfaction of all costs and fines according to law.
