No consumer shall knowingly make, cause, use or permit the use of water from the City for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, governmental or any other purpose in a manner which is contrary to any provision of this article or in an amount in excess of that use permitted by the conservation stage in effect pursuant to the provisions of this article. The Utilities Director shall promulgate guidelines which set forth criteria for determining when a particular conservation stage is to be implemented or terminated. Such guidelines shall be updated as the conditions of the utility system change. (Ord. 20089 § 32, 10-17-17.)
