(a) Unpolluted water, including but not limited to noncirculated cooling water, process water or blow-down from cooling towers or evaporative coolers or any other unpolluted water, will not be permitted to be discharged through direct or indirect connection to a sanitary sewer without written approval of the Utilities Department. The Department may approve the discharge of such water only when no reasonable alternative method of disposal is available.

(b) If approval is granted for the discharge of unpolluted water to a sanitary sewer, the user shall measure such discharge and pay the applicable wastewater service charges and fees and shall meet such other conditions as may be required by the Department. (Ord. 20089 § 54, 10-17-17.)
