(a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c) of this section, the International Energy Conservation Code for Commercial Buildings (IECC), 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council and amended by this chapter, is hereby adopted as the code for the purpose of regulating the design and construction of commercial buildings for the effective use and conservation of energy over the useful life of each building.

(b) Appendices RA, RB, RC (Residential Provisions) and CA (Board of Appeals/Commercial) are not adopted herein.

(c) Residential Provisions in Chapters 1 through 6 [RE] are not adopted herein. (Ord. 20343 § 1, 2-15-22.)
