This district is established to provide for the use of two-family and attached single-family dwellings together with specified accessory uses. The purpose of this district is intended to provide for a housing type and arrangement that is distinguished from the single-family detached dwellings and multifamily dwellings provided for elsewhere in these regulations. The location of this district is further intended to provide a transitional use between the single-family detached dwelling districts and other districts which are more intensive.
