Any employee found to be physically disqualified from properly performing the duties as a firefighter or police officer shall have the right to reexamination by written request directed to the Chief of the department. The written request for a reexamination shall be delivered to the Chief of the department within 10 calendar days from the date the employee is notified of the finding of physical disqualification.
