(a) The City hereby extends the benefits of Title II of the Federal Social Security Act, in conformity with the applicable provisions of such Act, to the employees of the City in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. Chapter 40, Article 23 (K.S.A. 40-2301 et seq.), and the terms of the following plan of coverage of the City for extending the benefits of Title II of the Federal Social Security Act to the employees of the City.

(b) The City submits the following plan contained in this article to the State Department of Administration, the authorized State agency for approval as authorized by K.S.A. Chapter 40, Article 23 (K.S.A. 40-2301 et seq.). (Ord. 20206 §§ 50, 86, 9-10-19.)
