(a) Mayor, $40,000 effective January 1, 2017.

(b) Each Councilmember, $20,000 effective January 1, 2017.

(c) That the salaries of the Mayor and Councilmembers will be considered every four years hereafter in conjunction with the normal budget process; and, further, that if any adjustments are deemed appropriate, said adjustments will reflect the change in the consumer price index for all urban consumers as published by the United States Department of Labor for the preceding cumulative calendar years.

(d) Notwithstanding subsections (a) and (b) of this section, salaries of the Mayor and each Councilmember may be reduced upon enactment of a resolution authorizing the specific percentage and/or amount of such reduction for an established period of time. (Ord. 20244 § 1, 4-21-20.)
