2.35.010 Commission, badge, oath.
Each police officer appointed under this article shall be issued a commission, signed by the City Manager and attested by the City Clerk, and a badge of office. Each such officer and member of the Department shall, before entering upon the duties of the office, take and subscribe an oath of office and such other oath as may be required by law, and such original or copy of the oath shall be filed with the City Human Resources Department.
