It shall be the duty of the Code Enforcement Director to conduct examinations of applicants for mobile home craftsman licenses. Examinations shall consist of questions, problems and demonstrations designed to show the extent of the applicant’s knowledge concerning the detailed provisions of this chapter and the applicable City codes, the practical experience in this type of work which the applicant has had, and the degree of proficiency the applicant has attained. The examination shall be given on the basis of the current code at the time the examination is given. At least one-half of the examination shall be written. (Code 1981 § 25-167. Code 1995 § 98-227.)
