Whenever any person operating or maintaining any occupancy, premises or vehicle subject to the fire code or such other ordinances enforced by the Fire Chief fails to take immediate action when ordered or notified to do so by the Fire Chief or a duly authorized representative to abate a fire hazard existing on premises under the person’s control, the Fire Chief or a duly authorized representative shall issue a complaint charging the accused person of violating the fire code or such other ordinance enforced by the Fire Chief.
