Water system fees shall be determined by the Utilities Director or his or her designee, and approved by the City Manager, and reviewed and adjusted if necessary at least every five years. Such water system fees shall be set forth on a schedule maintained by the Utilities Director. Such fees shall be based on the system’s value, capacity and demand factors.

At the discretion of the City Manager or Governing Body, as applicable, the water system fees authorized in this section may be waived or modified for economic development projects which offer extraordinary benefits to the City. The City Manager shall be authorized to grant a waiver of up to 25 percent of the fees. Governing Body approval shall be required for any waiver in excess of 25 percent. (Ord. 20089 § 27, 10-17-17.)
