The Kansas Code of Criminal Procedure shall govern, insofar as applicable, the filing and disposition of motions, except as modified by this Code of procedure. Motions may be oral or written. The City Attorney shall be granted not less than 14 days to respond to any motion determinative of the merits of the case or which may lead to the suppression of evidence.
