The purpose of this chapter is to reduce automatic alarm system activations where no emergency exists, thereby reducing unnecessary responses by public safety personnel to false alarms. This chapter is not intended to be punitive to the alarm user, but remedial. (Ord. 20121 § 2, 5-15-18.)
