Section 605.2, Receptacles, is deleted in its entirety and the following provisions shall be substituted therefor:

Every habitable space in a dwelling shall contain at least two separate and remote receptacle outlets. Every laundry area shall contain at least one grounded-type receptacle or a receptacle with a ground fault circuit interrupter. Every bathroom shall contain at least one receptacle. All kitchen countertop receptacles and all bathroom receptacles are required to be a receptacle with a ground fault circuit interrupter. All receptacle outlets shall have the appropriate faceplate cover for that location.
