Notwithstanding the provisions of TMC 2.40.290, and amendments thereto, a law enforcement officer may release an accused person from custody without requiring security for his or her appearance, and shall release such accused person without requiring security for the appearance, pursuant to any rule or order of the Municipal Judge.
