The reexamination of an employee under this article shall be made within 20 calendar days from the date of delivery of the notice by the employee to the Chief of the department. All costs of the reexamination shall be borne by the City. For the purposes of such reexamination, the employee shall designate one physician, the City Medical Advisor shall designate one physician, who shall not be the same physician who made the original examination, and the two physicians so designated shall designate a third physician. The employee affected and the City Medical Advisor shall appoint a physician within seven calendar days from the date of delivery of the notice demanding reexamination to the Chief of the department.
